Spring House League Guideline

Young division:

1.   All games will be played runningThere will be 2 20 minute periods, and a third period that will span the remaining time of each ice slot.
2. Shifts will be 1 min 30 sec each, with the buzzer sounding to signal
3. At the buzzer, puck will be played where it is (if in neutral ice), or referee will advance the puck to neutral ice when the buzzer sounds.
4. Play will continue without a face-off – players will race to puck to resume play
5. Lines should be matched with more skilled players on one team competing against the more skilled players on the other team.
6. Penalties will be served by player until buzzer sounds ending his shift

Older division:

1. All games will be played runningThere will be 2 20 minute periods,    and a third period that will span the remaining time of each ice slot.
2. Teams will change “on the fly”.
3. Penalties will be 1 min 30 sec.
4. Lines should be matched with more skilled players on one teamagainst the more skilled players on the other team

Parents:

Beginning with games April 1, no parents will be permitted

beyond the scorers bench.  While well intentioned, the presence of excessive numbers of parents is distracting to both players and coaching staff.
